Better health means more than not being sick, it means getting more out of life, feeling well and having the energy and ability to do what you want to do not just at work but at home and in your leisure time.

WorkHeath is a program designed to improve the health and wellbeing of Victorian workers.

An important part of WorkHealth is giving all participating workers an opportunity to have a convenient and confidential health check.  Workers receive information and advice about their risk of certain chronic disease and the impact that lifestyle may have on their health.

The benefits for workers include:

  • The opportunity to participate in free health checks
  • The chance to learn more about your health
  • An increased awareness of your risk of preventable diseases such as cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes
  • You’re offered encouraging, positive ways to reduce risk factors and maintain good health
  • You’re encouraged along with co-workers to implement healthy eating and exercise programs at work

WorkHealth is working hard to keep Victorian workers safe and well. You can help by giving your employer all the information they need to apply for worker health checks at your workplace.
