Construction industry leads the way – Safety Summit 2007

The Construction Safety Summit "People fit for work, Work fit for people" held in October 2007 as part of Work Safe Week, provided a foundation for the WorkHealth Initiative.

There was strong representation from industry and the health sector and support for urgent action to address the growing problem of chronic disease.
